... It turned out that Ito also has beautiful nature, and the hostel was really nice. So first about the onsen etiquette. When you go in, you undress completely then you go into the next room. Tokaikan used to be a ryokan in the 1920s, is now a national monument for its elegant woodwork, and now all 3 floors are open to the public for viewing.

Owl City Concert, 7 Waterfalls and a Sunset
... is good yes, but as the view often is moisty, cloudy or foggy (at least when I was there) I prefer the clear view sunset.
From there it isn't far to a very good restaurant, which my boss and I visited on another motorcycle tour. We ordered and rodered everytime we returned, the Wasabi steak. A delicious steak with wasabi dressing, some wasabi with it and noodles and salad and all the other good stuff :-) It's really really good! ...
