75 Brisbane Road Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia, 4557, 61-(7)-5444-3399
I didn't realise it'd been 3 months since my last entry! Ooops! Well life here has sort of plateaued since getting a job and settling for a while so there hasn't been too much to tell. We stayed with Pat and his brother for a week in Brisbane which was awesome and we're REALLY grateful for! We were able to rent a car with the rent money we saved and headed to the Gold and Sunshine coasts in search of work. Luke's birthday fell in the middle of it too so in true 29 year old boyish style he ins...
Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia flagwavingpomSo after months and months in Mooloolaba working away as a waitress at Karma Waters, and after having to deal with the train wreck that is what's left of my and Luke's relationship I've decided to jack it all in and get out of here a bit earlier than I'd planned. First stop's going to be Rainbow Beach for some dolphin feeding and ocean kayaking, a bit of chill after all the drama. Then up to Hervey Bay for a few days, its not actually very far from Rainbow but I thought I may as well see it, ...
Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia flagwavingpomSorry I haven't written in a few days- I went out to Mooloolaba with a few people. It's a really great town on the coast. The group that went included Jamie, Nghi, Sean, Carolyn, Alberta, Ross, Brian, Nick, and Tai. I woke up early on the 15th but our group managed to miss the train. We waited two hours and got on the next one to Mooloolaba. The trip took around 3 hours and the scenery was amazing! Huge rocks jutted out of nowhere and the sights were very rural. We arrived in Mooloolaba at ar...
Mooloolaba, Australia hiatt84Sadly my Australian journey has come to an end. It has taken me approximately 17555km of travelling to get back to Sydney. Most of it was on the road and I only cheated twice by flying from Perth to Cairns and then from the Gold Coast back down to Sydney - pretty good going hey? I have collected so many of my own stories and have had so many unique experiences yet I was still pretty excited to finally get to Sydney to see the city for myself. But first let me tell you about a few adventures a...
Sydney, New South Wales, Australia nixsboysI've been staying in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine coast, although there has been a lack of sunshine, yesterday it rained all day and night, and today it started off cloudy but cleared up this afternoon. Yesterday I went over to Australia Zoo which is Steve Irwin's place. It was really big with a lot of Australian wildlife. I saw lots of Koalas in trees, kangaroos, echidnas (very odd little creatures), snakes (im ignoring that there are lots of poisonous ones here), wombats, and of course crocod...
Mooloolaba, Queensland, Australia tess.johnsonYey i got out of Brisbane at last! Im back at the seaside and the weathers improved too, wicked! Mooloolaba is a very pretty little town 2hrs drive north of Brisbane. I took a day tour to the Australia Zoo which Steve Irwins family founded, it was a great day out, the talks were funny and interesting and there was alot to do and see to fill the day up. I even feed an elephant which was so cool. Being back at the seaside ive had chance to go walks along the sea front again, which is so nice.

... 3 hour journey, hanging on to the corners of the mattress as the horizon disappeared out of view. I thought we were going to flip at one point....it was pretty hairy. That boat doesn't have much luck though as it was the Pacific Star that 'lost' the 2 divers for 20 hours about a year ago....it's all a bit scandalous though from what I've heard! Anyway, some how the waves managed to rock me to sleep and thankfully the last day was still and calm and we spent it in amongst ...
Noosa, Queensland, Australia lindsayloub...I would live in Noosa. I wish I could've stayed there longer, but since I'm nearing the end of my time in Australia, I had to move on. It has everything: busy beaches, secluded beaches, forest land, hiking trails, bars, grocery stores, movie theater, etc, etc, etc. I really felt at home there. I stayed in Noose for five nights. It rained half the time, so I spent a lot of time in ...

They didn't arrive for ages and in the meantime the weather got really bad. Shaun and Keaney came back to the meeting point and I knew there was sonething wrong cause it wasn't them town in the same boat when we started out. It turned out that when the rest of them were trying to cross the lake the canoe capsised ...
