Mooloolaba Beach Backpackers

I didn't realise it'd been 3 months since my last entry! Ooops! Well life here has sort of plateaued since getting a job and settling for a while so there hasn't been too much to tell. We stayed with Pat and his brother for a week in Brisbane which was awesome and we're REALLY grateful for! So after months and months in Mooloolaba working away as a waitress at Karma Waters, and after having to deal with the train wreck that is what's left of my and Luke's relationship I've decided to jack it all in and get out of here a bit earlier than I'd planned. Sorry I haven't written in a few days- I went out to Mooloolaba with a few people. It's a really great town on the coast. The group that went included Jamie, Nghi, Sean, Carolyn, Alberta, Ross, Brian, Nick, and Tai. I woke up early on the 15th but our group managed to miss the train. Sadly my Australian journey has come to an end. It has taken me approximately 17555km of travelling to get back to Sydney. Most of it was on the road and I only cheated twice by flying from Perth to Cairns and then from the Gold Coast back down to Sydney - pretty good going hey? I've been staying in Mooloolaba on the Sunshine coast, although there has been a lack of sunshine, yesterday it rained all day and night, and today it started off cloudy but cleared up this afternoon. Yesterday I went over to Australia Zoo which is Steve Irwin's place. It was really big with a lot of Australian wildlife. Yey i got out of Brisbane at last! Im back at the seaside and the weathers improved too, wicked! Mooloolaba is a very pretty little town 2hrs drive north of Brisbane. I took a day tour to the Australia Zoo which Steve Irwins family founded, it was a great day out, the talks were funny and interesting and there was alot to do and see to fill the day up. I even feed an elephant which was so cool. Being back at the seaside ive had chance to go walks along the sea front again, which is so nice.
