The Mook Lanta eco-resort les right at the end of Long Beach so if you want to go for a walk you have indeed a very nice long beach. I t was quiet and pleasant, activities for all tastes can be found. If you don't want their famous english breakfast, there is a French bakery nearby as well as numerous restaurants. You can rent a motorbike, go diving or snorkling or take the four island tour. The standard rooms are pretty basic but clean and have a nice shower and fan. So what more do you want on this island paradise?

If you're looking for something that's not a party on the beach then this is your place. Still only a minute's walk from the coast (and a nice quiet section at that). These resort is located in a wonderful garden area rich with frogs to sing you to sleep!

I spend Pi Mai or lao New year in Thailand on the beautiful island of Ko Landa in Krabi province. I wanted to get away from the crazy waterfights in Vientiane and was looking for some peace and quiet. Mook Lanta Eco resort was close to the beach and had basic but clean accommodaton. On top of that the island's best restaurant, the Red Snapper is …

... we headed back to the resort where we lazed and swam and had a few drinks at the why not bar. We decided to venture out for supper and ended up at the Diamond Cliff restaurant. We were the only two here. We had an amazing seafood platter for £24..Baracuda, giant prawns, squid and veggies. Tonight we raised a toast to Gerard...when we got back to our resort they had a firework show, as there had been a wedding at the resort on our left that day, so a nice way ...

It wasn’t even the fact that his spiritual, intellectual and mythical charisma could have been contained within an ants toenail; it was more that this guy just repelled you from him, and this fact alone served as a contradiction to everything that we believed in, and the rest of our group clearly resonated with this fact, and were unfortunately stuck in the middle of nowhere place in North East Thailand, and stuck in this situation too. We were lucky to have a ...

... poisoning. We hired some bicycles from the resort as we didnt want to risk scooters and they are just 2 pounds for 24 hours. They're hilarious, with weirdly positioned handle bars and no gears but got us around safely enough! We managed to cycle pretty far with a stop for lunch at a beach cafe. Here we saw our first ladyboy. We then visited Time for Lime, where we made a reservation for later in the week and ended up at Long Beach. We walked down the beach to nearly the ...

No waterfalls but we manage to do a whole lap of the island, about 70km in total. It only seems right that whilst I'm over here I get a bamboo tattoo, so I head off to find a ...
