The Mook Lanta eco-resort les right at the end of Long Beach so if you want to go for a walk you have indeed a very nice long beach. I t was quiet and pleasant, activities for all tastes can be found. If you don't want their famous english breakfast, there is a French bakery nearby as well as numerous restaurants. You can rent a motorbike, go diving or snorkling or take the four island tour. The standard rooms are pretty basic but clean and have a nice shower and fan. So what more do you want on this island paradise?

If you're looking for something that's not a party on the beach then this is your place. Still only a minute's walk from the coast (and a nice quiet section at that). These resort is located in a wonderful garden area rich with frogs to sing you to sleep!

I spend Pi Mai or lao New year in Thailand on the beautiful island of Ko Landa in Krabi province. I wanted to get away from the crazy waterfights in Vientiane and was looking for some peace and quiet. Mook Lanta Eco resort was close to the beach and had basic but clean accommodaton. On top of that the island's best restaurant, the Red Snapper is …

... with the opportunity to rebuild one of the country’s greatest tourist attractions with modern city planning and environmental stewardship in mind, so naturally they rebuilt it exactly as it was before the wave. After running through some skills with Kris ready we descended the line down to the reef. I had forgotten how much weight I need – I’m so small I don’t displace much water so tend to just sit at the surface like a bug – so I kind of ...

... in this weird situation it was pretty impossible to escape when there is no-where to physically hide or run to, and when each day rotated around a group of activities and a group of people. We needed our own time, and a break from being agony uncles, but there was not where to go. A casual “hello” to someone turned into a 3 hour counselling session, and it was starting to take its toll. We lost the interest in doing anything much, and that was a sure sign that we needed out, ...

... that it was one of the most expensive islands around but by good fortune we met a native who worked at a day resort as a security guard and he loaned us a tent to sleep in the resort overnight for free. Him and his friend cooked us dinner and served us breakfast and lunch for free. We tried to pay our friend, but he refused to receive any money so I gave him my Brazil world cup shirt and he was happy. He is a Muslim guy who ...

... for me and holly it was luxury however joelle did not seem to agree! We spent the next few days partying at night and chilling by the pool during the day! At start of the first night we all grabbed a bucket we decided cocktail but this was a bad idea far to sweet with less drunk effects! We stuck with rum and coke from then on! We grabbed a table and started on the drinking games which ended in us talking with a Scottish accent, pole dancing and squats! Casual! We got a ...
