If you're looking for something that's not a party on the beach then this is your place. Still only a minute's walk from the coast (and a nice quiet section at that). These resort is located in a wonderful garden area rich with frogs to sing you to sleep!

The waters were calm as we sped off and the thrill of being in a speedboat were there. We ended up picking up several more people making the boat seem rather full - the staff did not all have seats. The moment the sun comes out, you see everyone on the beach head for the water to try cool down. Which doesn't help too much as the water is like bath water! It is about 28C... This afternoon it started raining so we just chilled a bit and then took the resort kayak out to see some of the ...

Some friends I met were in a bar listening the live music when this happened and the police pulled the power supply as the barman refused to lay the bribe. So as idyllic as Thailand is it is still very much a foreign country. It made me concerned for all the 18/19 year old lads they go on their first holiday to Thailand which not much comment sense or sense of mortality. Koh ...

... and toilet room... With hot running water! Showers were had promptly and we felt much more human. Pleasingly, our chalet is so close to the swimming pool that you could probably spit a pip into it from our balcony, so of course we were straight in... Refreshing is not the word! After swimming we went for a bit of lunch and accidentally ordered meatballs that were made of fish, only when I say fish I mean they were made of that stuff that crab sticks are made of - it ...

... Moon Party'. Although totally not something Graeme and I would usually be seen dead at, we thought it important to make the most of this travelling and the experience of being here during a full moon might count for a lot one day, build some character?! So here goes, next blog entry will be to inform you of the antics of full moon craziness, if I'm not too intoxicated to ...
