      ... was cancelled, apparently because the rain had made it too slippery, so no tower visits today. A refund will be given. Anyway, the visit was just fabulous. Home (and there) in the Metro, including changing lines from blue to green en route - how clever is that - and home to our cosy apartment for a little rest.       ... so tht we could hear about the history of absolutely everything that Colonia Guell was about back in the day. Everything from the doctor's house, to the school and principals house (which were joined together) to the textile producing factories.

      ... site of the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games. We also drove past the pool where Kylie filmed the film clip for 'Slow'. Once at the top we stopped and there was an amazing view over the city and of the port which is in the same location as it has been since Roman times.       ... Las Ramblas which was awesome. Considering that we had nothing really planned, no idea where we were going or what we wanted to do, we basically did spontaneous things for the entire trip. Las Ramblas is a street with tons of vendors and stores and restaurants. We also went in La Boqueria which is located on Las Ramblas which is an insanely huge market with all kinds of food.
