... There are many economic and political reasons why she believes it might happen. Catalan is one of the richest states and they pay lots of taxes into the Spanish government and then receive very little. Because of older and transplanted Catalans, she does no know the outcome of the September election! We saw the black Madonna after standing in line for probably 45 minutes during which I was talking to her and learning lots about her ...

It is filled with pedestrians, mainly tourists like us , who walk up and down taking in the sights. Certainly a good way to see parts of the city. Tonight is our final night in Europe. Tomorrow we do still have a full day in Barcelona before our flight at 8.30pm to Vienna and then onto ...

... place for lunch, Juan recommended a fish restaurant close to the area, called "La Paradeta". So I marched off down the long Princessa Boulevard (I think that is what it was called) lined with Palm Trees and about half way down from the Arc de Triumf, I turned right and then left towards the former El Born Market, which is now an archeological exhibit that I did not take the time to learn anything about.
