    ... workers hosing the ground. There are trash receptacles and recycling bins on just about every corner. Except for the cigarette butts and there were loads cause the Spaniards smoke A LOT, there was really no other litter. It is a beautiful city with a great diversity of architecture to enjoy while strolling and pleasant plazas to sit and relax in. It has a lot offer to all types of people, as long as you like people...and lots of them!

    ... particular restaurant recommended to us. It didn't open until 8:00. Being a high quality place, we thought this would be a good place to try paella. And more wine. It was delicious. Here we met two Swedish sisters and had a lovely conversation after dinner. We each had drunk our own half liter of wine and we were quite cheerful. We all hugged and set off for home. 11:00and the streets were packed. Wall to wall. It took 25 minutes to get back and the crowds were everywhere. So much fun. ...

    The outside was majestic and all. Actually to be honest it looked a little dirty. The passion fašade with its straight edges and minimalistic portrayal of people and objects worked well with the dirty grey color, but the intricacy of the nativity fašade wasn't done justice. I read somewhere that Gaudi intended the cathedral to actually be colored so it looked as realistic as possible. Maybe when they finish their construction in 2026 ...
