    ... This saves around 20-30 minutes of one-side journey but also costs double than bus+train journey. During the bus journey, you’ll find Lake Garda on your left for almost 15 minutes, which is just a treat to watch.

    Next we headed off to the nearby Lamberti Tower (everything is nearby given the small old town area) which is the tallest tower in the city. The old clock tower still functions and we heard the bell ring while at the top. In fact, it is still ringing in our ears. The views were spectacular of course.     ... four hours spent wandering around went quickly with the many stops we made. We found ourselves hungry and stopped near our hotel for dinner at a small restaurant for an okay dinner of spaghetti con vongole (spaghetti with clams) and risotto with shrimp. Not worth recommending but the waiters were friendly and humorous.

    Back to our hotel about seven after a fun day of Vino in Verona.
