... for the Lord's wisdom in having us help meet her need. I pray that he was glorified, as His people reached out to help, and that she would know who sent us through my prayers with her. Upon relfection, Michael pointed out that God always has his people where He wants us. Like Andrew puts us where we need to be to do our job for Camfel, God puts us in the right place to carry out His work. When we fail to complete that job, we ...
Wildwood, NJ, New Jersey, United States mikeandkelseyI've been wanting to visit the European Christmas Markets for several years now, but my husband was reluctant - he's not a fan of the cold! But this year he relented. I'm approaching one of those "milestone" birthdays, and frankly, I would rather travel than have a party, so this year we are going!

We got brochures in the mail from a number of different companies featuring Christmas Time Cruises. I also ...
Ocean City, New Jersey, United States gus_me... roadside shop with a gaggle of Adirondack ( Cath’s favourite ) chairs out front all in different colours , on closer inspection these were made of plastic so would not rot but lacked the authenticity of the ones she has got at home. Next stop Atlantic City Auto sales about 3 miles west of Ocean city Proper

Here we parted ways with our Cadillac and stepped into the unknown a 1200 dollar Chevy conversion van I think I herd the ...
Milford, Delaware, United States cadelec... ferry to Delaware where we explored the town of Lewes and hit the outlets. We came back for a late birthday dinner at the Peter Shields Inn. Good food and a fantastic view of the ocean from our table.

Wednesday was already our last day. So we hit the beach all day and then jumped in our cars and left. All in all it was a perfect little relaxing beach get a way.
Cape May, New Jersey, United States blondie721... ship. Still there are barges and sometimes several. I read a magazine story of a family on a 60 foot wooden sailing vessel foolish enough to transit it at night. They missed seeing a barge and the boat sunk in the canal. Luckily there was no loss of life. Id prefer to make my passage in full day light thank you.

The canal transit went well any by the time we got near the eastern entrance, we were hitting speeds ...
Cape May, New Jersey, United States gknopp... very competitive 18 holes of minigolf! (Ken won and Tina scored a hole in one, so they were both happy - and we got a free gift from the attached souvenir shop, so in the end we were all happy!)
And we even managed a bit of a wander down to the Cape May beach just down the road

But our time at Cape May is most memorable for the superb meals we created each evening at our little holiday cottage and the amount of wine we managed to consume with them!
Cape May, New Jersey, United States tandc2007... and be warned. P.S. I sent an e-mail to the Dewey Beach police dept to complain for no other reason but to have my say... The response was "Sorry you had an unpleasant experience... but we obviously can't put signs everywhere permits are required." Oh... how foolish of me. What was I thinking? P.S.S For an excelent crab house experience I recommend Mickey's in Bethany Beach... The crab cakes are to die for... and there is plenty of parking available.
Dewey Beach, Delaware, United States etan122... that exciting although we did get to stop and get Chipotle with one of my best friends Justin, who now lives in NC. When I realized that we were close to his town I called him up and we were surprisingly only a few minutes down the road. Leah was also interested in looking into graduate school so it was a convenient pit stop along the way. We arrived into Atlanta around 1 a.m. and happily crashed. The signs for a town called Kannapolis cracked me up everytime.
