... Had a quiet morning, then thought that we should walk into the local town of Castellammare. Not much was inspiring. I can see why the hotel was out of town and totally self sufficient. It was also an excellent location for access to other parts of the Sorrento peninsular, closed tunnels notwithstanding.

... the same marble floors, the theatres, and touch the same walls and mosaics that were there before 79 AD was really breathtaking. And how advanced the Romans were was incredible. Even the brothels! with pictures on the walls of the 'menu'. The whole thing was so interesting I would recommend it to anyone.
