... Had a quiet morning, then thought that we should walk into the local town of Castellammare. Not much was inspiring. I can see why the hotel was out of town and totally self sufficient. It was also an excellent location for access to other parts of the Sorrento peninsular, closed tunnels notwithstanding.

It was handed over, along with 1euro change, they gave us a discount. It goes to show that if you're a tourist in a non-tourist area, you'll find the love. We headed back to our hotel with a quick stop at a local side-market to buy wine and beer, and enjoyed our fourth/fifth/sixth pizza in consecutive nights. Choice ...
... the same marble floors, the theatres, and touch the same walls and mosaics that were there before 79 AD was really breathtaking. And how advanced the Romans were was incredible. Even the brothels! with pictures on the walls of the 'menu'. The whole thing was so interesting I would recommend it to anyone.

The waters became too do a tour of the Blue Grotto or even take the 'fast ferry' back to Naples when it was time to leave. (Definition of Capricious: Impulsive, fickel, whymsical, unpredictalbe, downright mercucial...)
