It was definitely still full of tourists but a lot quieter than Pattaya Beach would have been which is right near Walking Street.  The people at our hotel were amazing. I struggled to find a decent Thai restaurant here as its all catered for 'westerners'. In the end I ate Italian Lasagne, with New Zealand beef, in a German brewery restaurant.
