... far away, I just set up my tent anyway. Fletcher is so tiny that I doubt they have patrol to kick people out. I think it consists of about 10 houses around the lake and a church. They had a camping pad built and a portable toilet at the boat dock, so they must have recently changed the rules. It felt like it was going to rain pretty hard, so I just got in my tent and went to ...

We finally pulled away from Highlands around 10:45 am. The weather was sunny in spite of the forecast. We drove to I-40 to Knoxville picked up I-75 to Lexington, went west to Louisville and then north to Lafayette Indiana. Over 500 miles was enough for one ...

... be the only driver for the entire trip. Considering the fact that we were on a tight budget and didn't have time to waste, the plan was to drive the entire way to Panama City Beach with a pit stop at the Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky, and one of our favorites, the Pharmacy Burger Parlor and Beer Garden at Nashville.
We left West Lafayette at around 12:30 pm. The drive to the Mammoth Cave National Park was fairly smooth, without any ...

I stayed behind in the morning while they went out with Tammy. I managed to get caught up on dishes, cleaned out the coffee maker, and focused on writing the rest of the time. The clowns hit up a number of stores in the area and then stopped back at the RV for a quick break before doing a show at the library where we were parked. Oh yeah, we were close enough to the library to pick up their unsecured wi-fi signal PERFECTLY so I was happy. Wish we could have spent the whole day ...
