Today is walking day, so we plan a route with a little help from my 'Triposo' App. This is free and the best App I have found for Worldwide Travel. It even works well offline. Our first planned stop is at the 'Jan Becher Museum' who invented the national alcoholic sprit called ...

... again I am happy with that.

The room we are having our evening meal is very nice indeed as is the food. The wild mushroom soup which is the best I have ever had, and the chicken main with white asparagus and mushrooms is great too. Our choice of wine is a Czech Sauvignon which is surprisingly good. Somehow we had completed a loop climbing the narrow streets again we stopped at the restaurant which adjoins our hotel ...

Emma does much better than I in terms of both. I must say in the absence of my tech savvy husband my daughter is doing well throughout her trusty iPhone with downloaded maps, pins dropped at needed locations have served us well and at the moment she is the one handling the Czech money. I know yes ...

... back to Prague and got some Pho Ga. This Vietnamese soup has become one of my new favorite foods!

On Saturday, Bram, Grace, and I decided to go to visit the Karlstejn castle. The Karlstejn castle is located about an hour outside of Prague above the little village of Karlstejn. This castle was founded in 1348 by Charles IV, Holy-Roman Emperor and King of Bohemia. King Charles IV is one of the most famous names in the Czech Republic and many things in Prague ...
