      Sacrifice in the sun

... br> Wed. Dave walked 6 miles this morning. I enjoyed my coffee. We basically hung around the pool all day. For dinner I bought a cooked chicken and a bottle of wine for 5 euros! I tackled the stove to boil some potatoes. It was a much larger challenge than it should have been. I couldn't get it to shut off. We called maintenance; he hit the circuit breaker. Was planning on cooking again tomorrow. We'll see.

Sunday, Sept 28. Happy birthday Rachel. We had a goodnight's sleep. We had a quick salami and cheese sandwich and of course coffee. Our time share guy , Stewart, met us. He knew we aren't interested in anymore purchases. There was no typical pressure from him. We were his first suckers back in 2007. ... born babies, so my day was pretty much made on the unit. That being said, I really don't think gynecology is for me; the fact of the matter is that this specialty requires a lot of work with labor and pregnancy, and I don't know if I want to put myself in the position of seeing a pregnancy or labor go wrong. I do respect the specialty a lot, and understand how important it is, but I think my interests lie elsewhere.

After shadowing, we had our ...

... s treatment becomes multidisciplinary and multifaceted. I have a feeling that when I'm a doctor, patient's like this one are going to be the ones I like working with most.

After my work with the psychiatrist, I got to follow one of Paco's residents around, Magdalena. She was pretty cool too! She's from Slovakia, so she speaks not only Spanish, but Czech, Slovakian and English. We visited a patient that I had seen previously--a Scottish woman with cognitive ...
