    Luckily last night was soooo much warmer than the previous! We have decided that to stick to schedule we have to be up early for sunrise and on the road. First stop off was Elkhorn Slough to see the sea otters ... There were tonnes just floating around on their backs in and out from under the bridge... These are the coolest animals I think I've seen... There was also a load of sea lions and Pelicans hanging around. Back on ...

    A long one today, left 09.00am & arrived at the Motel here in Monterey at 8.00pm ! Stunning scenery, drove a long way on the edge of a mountain range, at times " white knuckle " high !! Lot's to see, most enjoyable. Tomorrow, driving up the road to view & have lunch at the world ...

    ... and tried to stop at most of the vista points. As the weather was fantastic, I am hoping the photos turn out OK! we have seen some squirrels, sea lions, and several deer today.
