... rang. Very sorry but rain is coming so A la carte reservation cancelled. Who knew the restaurant was outdoors. Somewhat disappointed we went down to the dining hall and eventually found a table, again adequate food but nothing special. We took a short walk around the shops in the evening avoiding the live band in the main bar area. This even managed to drown out the neighbouring bar when we went up to our room. It didn't ...

... a small glass. That said there were a lot of people to feed, our group had 38 and there were several similar sized groups. After lunch we were back on the boat heading down river to Turtle beach. We stopped to look at the Burial tombs carved into the Rock face en route. From the period of the Crusades is ...

After breakfast we caught the bus into Marmaris 5 Turkish lira, for both of us. Bargain. We got off short of the bus stop and wandered along the front. It was very hot with the local tradesmen making the usual attempts to engage us in conversation with the hope of flogging us a boat trip or meal. We found the indoor bazaar which really just consisted of a roof being put over a normal street restricted to pedestrians and ...

A fairly good nights sleep. Luckily the noise from the nearby bar did not keep Barry awake so we may not need to move room. Woken 1/2 hour early by next doors alarm! Breakfast was better, last nights waiter lead us straight to a table and remembered our names. We both took advantage of there not being a queue for the omelette station - very nice. I added a sausage and a ...
