    ... I don't do this one as I have a legitimate reason for not doing it. So as they all wait in line, not long today, less than 20minutes, I find the tavern across the road has an old friend of mine, Heineken, so I people watch and sip my pint. They come out way too early. So I sent them back again. Mum suggests the tavern seat where I have perched myself is a good position, and heads off to get some nutritional lunch, if that is what a hotdog is...

    ... in the national park we stopped a lot on the roadside to take photos. We couldn't stay out of the car too long because of the flies and the heat! Flies were literally like on your eyeball, in your nostrils, and in you earhole. We kind of got used to it and now understand the 'Australian Wave'. From the National park you can also see Kata Tjuta which is another huge rock just less famous! We were able to drive all the way round the rock and visit the cultural centre that afternoon. ...

    ... man ebenfalls die Wellen reitet, allerdings im Liegen statt im Stehen.

    Einer unserer letzten Stops in New South Wales war die Lake Ainsworth Lagoon, welche auf den ersten Blick nicht sehr zum schwimmen einlädt, da sie fürchterlich rot-braun ist. Dies kommt allerdings von den Ölen der Teebäume, welche um die Lagune herumstehen und somit ist das Schwimmen hier sehr gut für die Haut.

    Mit der Ankunft in Queensland mussten ...

    ... watches he was the chap who plays Nate the doctor - I kept my cool, sat reading my book and drinking my very grown up beverage. It was only the two of us in there, and the waitress was very ditsy so we exchanged confused glances. On my way out he wished me a good day, I replied with 'you too' whilst attempting to remain cool and not highlight how excited I was. I think I managed it.....
