Great hotel and very kid friendly

    from

We spent 5 nights at this property and loved every minute. Room key provided access to other swimming pools property owns. Restaurant very clean and a great menu. Pastry and coffee near elevator made for midnight sneaks from room. Will always book here. My grandkids still talk about it. Gloria Wilson

    Luxury found in Wendover.

    from

The rooms were luxuriously decorated with vibrant colors. Rooms were clean and well presented upon arrival. Rooms are large and roomy, even the two-bed rooms.Housekeeping were very polite and efficient on requests. Nice private outdoor pool area. They were a great host for our two day event, large conference rooms. Seafood buffet was excellent and a very nice cozy cafe inside the casino as well. Thank you for a lovely stay.

    Gorgeous hotel.

    Is This OZ??

Montego Bay?? I thought that was in Jamaica..

But, Montego Bay in West Wendover Nevada, (Never heard of the town before), is something else. My wife and I travel all through the U. S. A. and Canada for golf and gambling and we have never stayed anywhere that would come close to "Value for Money" as we did at Montego Bay in West Wendover. We stayed there on September 2nd.2004 and were more than a little impressed. We have stayed at top line hotels from Vegas to Biloxi, to Reno and Atlantic City and never had as good an experience as at Montego Bay. For $29.95 a night, including a two for 1 Buffet, (worth ever penny of $13.oo) and a Luxurious room on the top floor with a great view and sumptious furnishings we too thought we had the wrong room and even asked at the front desk, only to be told that it was the right room. We would never consider driving through West Wendover again without stopping at Montego Bay.. Great Hotel Casino, Great Food, and a reasonably smart gambler can do well... Dennis Collet

It was the very best casino that I have visited, and I have visited casino's all over Canada and the United States, the hotel was great the people were friendly and helpful and listened to what I wanted.

I will be back, and I want to thank the staff and the owner's for the best trip I have had in a long time!!

    Very good 1st experience

    from

I own a saloon which takes an annual "gambling junket" (bus trip) every year. This was our 22nd anniversary trip, and while we had previously always gone to Jackpot, NV, we chose to look elsewhere this year because of some bad experiences at Jackpot (higher prices being the major one). I took 48 people to Montego Bay in West Wendover, and from the moment we pulled up, I was very positively impressed with our experience. When some rooms needed to be changed around because of the needs of one of our handicapped passengers, it was immediately done and she was given a room right across from the elevator. All in all, the changes took about 10 minutes. Their promotions for our group were very good, as were the room rates. A few said that their rooms were cold and that their thermostats didn't work, but I don't think they called these problems in to the front desk. All of our passengers commented about how beautiful their rooms were, as was my room as well. I would have no problem in recommending Montego Bay to anyone.

... here with the record exceeding 600 miles per hour. Not for the feint hearted.

We are looking forward to getting to Salt Lake City. We hope to be able to hear the Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform.

The drive from Oregon to Utah, although seemed to be a lot of nothing in particular is in its own very special way an exciting and special journey. Well worth doing.

Came across a website that finds free (or almost free) campsites: http://freecampsites.net
and tonight we will enjoy the fruits of it: we are spending the night in an RV and truck parking lot beside McDonald's. Great choice: free wifi from McDonalds helps us get our work done and stay in touch, and there is no cost for parking.

One drawback: tonight the entire town is shutting ...

We rode on the I-15 for a short time, then our TomTom took us onto the back roads. You really can feel like the only person on the earth there, nothing around you except one strip of (badly maintained) asphalt, rolling dry grasslands, hills and white fluffy clouds in the sky.
