    A Population of only 12k. Three forts, massive city walls on a tiny hill overlooking the cove. Streets are paved (since 1700) in rose limestone, very pretty. Iron industry here since the Etruscan times (hence the name). It's very green (but we are further north than before), from certain angles it could be NZ.     So there I tracked up the hill soaking wet to get the car and collect Mandy & Jeffrey. Disrobing behind the car into a dry sarong.

    They're back...........
    lo and behold we could not escape them. They are back & ensconced in the villa. They turned up in their little yellow & red car yesterday. They found a toad on the way (see picture attached) & decided that they would stay for the duration.
