The next day we went to the Santa Barbara Mission in the morning, mainly because we have heard of so many throughout California and there are streets named after them but we didn’t really know what it was all about, so we went for a bit of a history lesson. It was a beautiful building, very picturesque and we learnt a thing or two about the missions.

... sold for $3.2m. We stayed at a beautiful B&B and headed of early Saturday morning to Carmel.
Carmel was breathtaking but we arrived too early and most shops didn't open to 10.00am (Whoops sorry Robbie). A top up of fuel and we travelled the Big Sur (thanks Poss and Dave), this is a coastal drive down the coast from Carmel, the views were breathtaking, we stopped on ...
After 6 different flights over 16 days and 23,940 miles travelled the vacation is over and we are back to the reality of going back to work.... UGH.

... italian restaurant. We ate at a small local restaurant named ''Arnoldi's Cafe''. Pretty much only locals know the existence of it. I ordered a delicious homemade lasagna in a meat ragu sauce. The pasta itself were perfectly cooked, the sauce had just enough flavour and the cheese melted in my mouth. Having a real talk while eating dinner was fun. Usually, I mostly eat by myself.
What an awesome ...
... is not that big at all. And for the night we stopped at a rest stop and parked between the big ones too. Our falling asleep lullaby was the roaring engines of the big ones. So after a cool noisy night we are again on the road.
