... and sister, but since I was a little early I checked out the Galeria mall which was right next door, and advertised a terrace lounge on the top floor. It had a really great view of the city skyline and it definitely was a good end to my experience in the city of Frankfurt.

I forgot to mention that I had been warned on this day to not eat too much after breakfast, because we were having an especially big dinner. Simon and I met some of his buddies at a nearby Schnitzelhaus ...

We made it to Frankfurt! Happy New Year to everyone as well!! The flight was a little crazy. Fully booked to the point where once they loaded the luggage they had to recalibrate everything as the load was too heavy! Then we hit some crazy turbulence! Roller coaster feeling in my tummy! I was getting a bit nervous as things were rattling everywhere and a cart even fell over! Definitely glad to be on solid ground. So ...

... He thought you could funnel human souls from one body to another, real nut. The castle fell into ruins and there wasn't much left but it had a great hilltop view of basically everything around it. Frankfurt is about 30 miles away and we could see it in the distance. The ride up to the Castle was a mess since the main road was closed and we had to do a crazy detour. The roads basically fit only ...

After a very long, very uncomfortable flight (during which Kim quite happily watched kid's movies and Jas indulged in weird foreign films) we have arrived in Frankfurt and are waiting for our train to Berlin. Taking Simon's advice, Jas and I both decided wine and nyquil would be a good way to sleep the flight away... It was mildly successful, but I was told I looked angry ...
