... to say all of our goodbyes to family and friends but i'm sure it wont be long before we see you all again ��

We are now at a campsite in Poole for a couple of nights before the grand depart on Saturday morning......feeling chilled with a glass of wine and wondering what the next few months have in store for us.

my first visits, thinking how small the freight trucks were. Their equivalent
to our 18 wheeler, was a small truck pulling a trailer that might be 25 to 30
feet long. Now the UK equivalent to our “semi” is every bit as big as you might

Our B&B was a charming house in Wheddon Cross. It was originally built as a tailor's shop but has been converted to a B&B. Now most of the places we have stayed at are Victorian houses, this one was Edwardian. The difference being that Edwardian is less fussy and more plain. I say plain but it was anything but. ... to find. "I think we past the sign, turn around. No that's not it reverse up. Still nothing go back the first way" all well and good until the roads are only marginally wider that Margy and the next turn off is 5 miles further on. Still this was the adventure we signed up for and eventually we arrived at Oxwich Bay. 6 to park the motorhome for a few hours, no overnight parking and the advertised camp site only took tents! Bugger! Back up ...

... were in. Only one night though, as tomorrow sees the start of the annual Elvis weekend and every pitch is booked.
