We woke about 8.30 to another brilliantly fine warm day. The plan for the day was to walk to Sagrada Familia. Google maps showed it to be a 45 minute walk which would get us there in about the same time as the Hop On shop Off and we would see things we wouldn't by bus including the gardens and arc de triomf if we chose to go that way which we did. But first we wanted to get the blog and all the photos up to date. By the time we left the hotel it was 11.45. We walked ...

We headed down to breakfast just before 8 this morning as we need to be at the Picasso Museum for a 10am entry. ... making similarities to Venice. We visited a church and a cathedral and then as night set started noting the open doors of all the tapas bars, with their delicacies displayed. Mouths agape we drooled over some specialty Spanish ham, with their display of dried pork leg quite effective! We finally chose a place and ordered some Sangria, cured ham and manchengo cheese. Now we are off to bed to try to get Maja on the Euro clock! Hope everyone is doing well back home ...

... sunning themselves. Yes we are in in Spain and so a bathing top is optional and your booty needs to be on display as much as possible. As we walked along the beach enjoying the Mediterranean Sea lapping at feet we decided to have lunch in one of the cabana cafe's on the beach where we enjoyed the sun, Robyn had a frozen Margareta and l enjoyed a Sangria and the views. After ...
