... side of the Atlantic. We went towards the water side of town and just kind of took everything in. We got some amazing sandwiches from a place John recommended and ate by the water, checked out some great art, had ice cream, sat on the beach for sunset, and walked through a really active part of town. Such a great day! We are headed for the bus now to go to Marseille. It is an overnight bus which seems very daunting after having not taken one in so long, but hopefully it won't be too ...

I had a vague idea what churros were, Martin had no idea, but any snack that involves hot chocolate is always fine by him, so off we go. We ...

... lit up their large sparklers on poles, danced around, and then paraded off down the street, with more sparklers going off. I’m afraid I was pretty tired by now so I made my way through the crowd and back to my apartment. Everyone else seemed to be following the sparkler-firing parade of devils. There wasn't much to this Correfocs celebration, as far as I could see. Or maybe there was—I heard the drums and the crowds from my apartment for at least two more ...
