Having sat on the edge of my seat through many an 'Americas cup' yacht race in the past, I wanted to see where our kiwi boats had sailed from. Arriving at Valencia, at about 1.45pm, we went straight to a cooking school, Valencia Club Cocina, where we were given a cooking lesson on how to make Andalusian gazpacho, paella valenciana, and a milky dessert drink called horchata.
