... curry. Fabulous restaurant , great atmosphere and very busy. We were lucky to get in without a booking. On the way back we stopped at Santa Ana for a coffee and soaked up a bit more atmosphere in this gorgeous square. Walked back through our favourite square, Sol, with all the usual people and activity. Fabulous last night in ...

... After our big day in museums we definitely required a siesta this afternoon. Ian had noticed a restaurant across the road from our hotel that looked quite nice, so we decided to go there for our last night in Spain. The restaurant was called La Finca de Susana and it was wonderful and also very popular. We had a delicious meal of chicken croquettes, prawn and vegetable salad, crispy chicken with mushroom sauce and grilled fresh vegetables. It was all very good, and we had ...

... for a bathroom stop! We went to a restaurant called 5 Jotas - on the Puerto del Sol. The bus parked quite a ways away from the restaurant so here there are 51 of us following our tour guide through tons of people out on a Saturday night. We were warned to keep our purses close because everyone knows there are a lot of tourists coming through. Apparently Spain is bankrupt but our guide said they are working hard to recover.

They are obviously selling illegally, says their wares are placed on sheets, that have rope tied to each corner so they can pull it up quick and run, when the police turn up. Route 2 didn't seem to be as interesting at the first route, maybe that was because I was tired. I got off again at the Prado and then headed to the Parque ...

      ... side, the
Torero was so egotistical and confident in his tight pants and hot pink socks.
I feel like if I saw him in a bar he would be a hybrid between Joey Triviani
and John trovolta in greese… who wouldn’t stand a chance. I came home from the
fight feeling a lot of mixed emotions, it made me value the life I have been
given and it proved to me how quickly a life can be taken away. I am ending
today thankful, although tired from a long train wait.
