... we were only able to sit in the shade for 10minutes before we had to head back to the hotel. We went to the first group meeting for our next Intrepid tour around 7pm, it was a nice to meet the new group, they seem like a good crowd. There is 12 of us, we are the only kiwis, the rest are from Australia, Canada, America & Scotland & this time most of them ...

... legally staying with Emilia and Antonio so that it can override my student visa (which ends before my semester here finishes up) and also be able to use the public gyms, should I ever find time to get in a dance class!

Since this was supposed to be posted earlier this week, I decided that I'm going to hold off on writing about Galicia until the NEXT post (which I'm also writing today) because I have so much to talk about! Hasta luego, and thanks for bearing with me!

It ...

... topped with two fried eggs and slices of chorizo links. It was hilarious. At this point, Monica succinctly pointed out, "we are screwed in France." I agree. We love all three of these elements, but just never together before. I probably pulled a little more weight than Monica, but we devoured the huevos rotos. Definitely the first time we've ever eaten fried eggs and red wine, but might not be the last. Looking forward to Day 3 tomorrow. Starting off the day at the Royal ...

Of course the flight to Madrid was long and uncomfortable. I spent my time watching the movie Her (which I do not recommend anyone do in a public setting) and other movies while attempting to sleep sitting up. It was by far not the best flight I've ever been on. We almost flawlessly went from the airport to the metro so we could get to the apartment we were staying at. That is until we doubted ourselves and decided to go back a stop cause we thought we ...
