... were only 20 guests or so onboard, so we had plenty of room to spread out and get comfortable on the huge beanbags arranged all over the ship. ... not to expect to much, but after some 500 stairs all the way down the canyon floor, the sight of the water fall was impressive. ... dirt road nestled in amongst the forest that runs parallel to a wide white sandy beach. It is a fairly isolated spot; the nearest gas station is miles away and routinely runs out ("maybe you come back this afternoon?"). The break is similar to South Straddie (south facing so picks up more of the southerly swell) with a sand bottom where the banks are quite steep giving a critical take-off and pitching wave enabling a small close-out barrel or a quick turn or two.
