... There were groups of school kids there but we were able to explore the place and walk around the lake. The weather wasn't kind to us and we got hailed on while walking around the lake, so it was cold. The day started nice and bright and after an all inclusive breakfast buffet we took the little incline railway down to the falls. ... we headed home for lunch.

Beth's parents are Uncle Vaughn and Aunty Jackie, and she has two brothers - the oldest 'Nate' (Nathan) and the younger Josh. Ashley Pryer came around after lunch (she's the coordinator for my conference group, and we're gluten free buddies!) The others wanted to nap so us three girls popped into the grocery store before heading to Sherman Falls, where we spent more time ...

I remember it clearly. I was a first year nursing student and watching a show about nurses working at a maternity center in Sierra Leone. It was then I decided that 'someday' I would go to Africa to volunteer.
Well that 'someday' is now. After many years of planning, we are 1 month out.

We will be working with an agency called Blue-Med Africa. ...
