Monte Carlo Inn Brampton Suites (Brampton)

First port of call - Visit Elsa and Ken who are about to become first-time parents at the end of December. We're very excited to meet our new grandchild, probably by Skype the first time, in late December. Our travels will take us to Florida, Texas, Arizona and Utah, with a possible trip to India in May to celebrate Eugenie's 50th. birthday.

... was just trying to hide his emotions. I've had a few nights out in downtown Toronto, which is always fun and hangover inducing, and am now on the countdown to my flight to Sydney, via LA, where I expect that my love/hate relationship with customs will spark to life again.

So, America is done for this trip and I thought I'd finish this leg with something that was on a major news show while I was there which I think sums up the place quite well...
Aurora, Ontario, Canada holliday

Decided to write down info about our travels. First leg is not very long and not too far. Nottawa, Ontario to Maitland Bridge, Nova Scotia, distance of about 6300km or 3700miles (i think!).

Da heute die Sonne schien, haben wir beschlossen, auf dem Skylontower die Aussicht auf die Niagarafälle zu geniessen. Der Turm hat eine Gesamthöhe von 160 Meter.

Nachdem wir dann die Fälle nochmals unten besichtigt haben, machten wir uns auf den Weg Richtung letzter ...

Italy was everything and more than I thought it would be. We saw some great sights, ate the best food and drank the best coffee in the world. We took over 1,200 pictures and now we have the job of sorting and editing.

... and in those 2 weeks I probably learned more about what I was capable of doing and wanting to do, and will to do. How much effort I was will to put into something, and I don't think my heart was truly in it at that time in my life.

I ended up spending the rest of the summer at home.

... of red... my mother the Saint ended up having to come get us and my friends were giggling in the backseat the whole way home... very prom 1995. I saw all of my friends; got to see Nadine's wedding photos over curry, had a Pan-Asian theme party held for me by Vaness & Cheryl, dinner at Jo's, Queen's Pasta with Tamara. Lots and lots and lots of shopping, stocking up for the big move. And, of course, seeing my parents again. Three weeks went by in a blur ...

This was my first attempt at basic, I was pumped to be there, but the reason I was sent home, was because I had a panic attack while doing the shuttle run and couldn't get to level 4. Now that just totally bummed my summer, I ended up going back home, and was put to work on the farm. That so was not what I thought my summer was going to look like.

Yesterday was pretty normal. Guy got off work around noon, but we had to wait until 2 to leave because I needed to get my printed manuscript of my Gutai paper at Staples. We finaly managed to leave Ottawa around 3 pm. The trip to Brampton was fine, nothing very exciting :) Today I'll be seeing some new roads, so it might be ...
