Evora was different from the other places we have been in Portugal so far. It had no ocean, or rivers, but is was completely surrounded by a medieval wall. Bone Chapel, Roman temple, & more Portugese tarts
... all the way up to the roof, 70 odd stairs, but is was worth it, the views over Evora and the country side were amazing. Inside the cathedral was filled with 16th century paintings and numerous little alters, but most impressive were the 400 year old gallery mounted organs. They were incredibly huge and for some reason located 4 meters up the chapel walls.
