The day started well enough with a nice walk along the beach, lunch in a beachside restaurant over looking the harbour... After lunch a few more beers in a couple of different bars and it was late afternoon, Linda and Mandy returned with Tia to Herman for the night as Mark, Cani and I powered on into the evening at the Tapas Bar, Beers, Run&Cokes and Bottles of Wine all being consumed... Even the free Tapas they laid on the top ...

The next day we packed a picnic and walked along the coast path in the direction of Ampolla. The weather was glorious with temperatures about 20 degrees and the scenery was really beautiful. We stopped in a little cove for lunch and couldn’t believe that we were actually feeling a bit sunburnt in December, bliss! In the evening we walked back to our little private beach to watch the sunset with a beer, does life actually get much better?
... nice part’ of Vilanova (the bit that we had read about on the internet etc), but unfortunately it had few redeeming features so we headed back home and clocked up about 8 miles!!
Needless to say we have decided to hit the road again in the hope of finding a more traditional, scenic part of Spain…..i’m sure it’s out there somewhere!!!
