Eventually we found a room in a 'motel' and although it bore a striking resemblance to a cell with no windows or bathroom it did have a TV with English-speaking channels. So we spent our last night in Sumatra eating McDonalds and watching the Discovery Channel in preparation for our return to civilisation after our flight to Bali the next day.
