Once back I checked the dryer and it was done but most things were not yet dry. The clothes that were almost dry I took out to hang up in the closets. The rest I gave another 1/2 hour and they were mostly dry by that time. I also did the dishes and started packing. ... we sat for a few minutes at Biesl Altstadt and had a beer, me a raddler. We walked up to St. Anne's Column which marks the middle of the old marketplace. It was built in the 18th century in gratitude that the army had defeated the invading Bavarians. We saw the Triumphal Arch from a distance but it was covered in scaffolding and plastic for repairs.

So today was an example of how wonderful my husband Craig really is. Many years ago in 1983 when we Eurailed our way around Europe our train stopped at a pretty place called Zell am See in Austria. We were going to Salzburg and Craig said at the time – let's go back and have a look at this town one day. So it was on his bucket list.
