once I arrived in the town center, climbers and hikers were arriving
from up above as the day was ending. It was about 60 degrees and I
sat out and had a beer before heading back to the hotel to read up on

I am only stayin the night just to see the Matterhorn. The sun is out and I took a hike up nearby hill. It was about an hour and a half uphill walk with regular short stops to catch my breath. I think I have had enough of hiking now, I did 4 hours of it at Montreux as well, I must have the best **** at the moment. Spectacular view of the mountain at the hilltop though. It's a driving day today..as we have decided to cross Switzerland just over the border to Chamonix, Mont Blanc in France. We got up for breakfast, heading down at 9.30am, breakfast was average..didn't really love the hotel as the ladys cleaning the rooms were banging around at all hours..and the room was too hot without the windows (and mossies!) open. The reason I went to France was to go skiing at chamonix/Mont Blanc, which i did and it was fantastic and i will be doing again very soon before i get tied up.. while i was there i did the world famous ski run Valley de blanche you ski over a glacier. which is amazing, the veiws you get on theis run are spectacular. definately take a camera.
