We wander along and decide to find somewhere for dinner – it turns out that the waitress was born and grew up in the same town that I did, and where my parents still live – so we had a bit of a chat to her about it.

Ken Dead!!

... in the audience now laughed, Wow he was really going for it now but it was short lived and very soon the Hammond organ and ***** drummer took Ken into another song with granny smith behind me in accompaniment.... It was all I could take and at 8:02 we left the building, I had made it through about 40 minutes of Ken Dodd which was 39 more than I had wanted to so all in all I had done well.

A hi-octane fuelled seaside weekend

... changes remarkably well, and although only a tiny percentage of foreigners will be familiar with the place, daytrippers from the Midlands still descend on the place as if it were their second home. The day after…

... able to fly. So far, the doctors were cautiously optimistic about both and thought she might get out on Friday, although Connie had her concerns about being able to make the flight. Mick and I spent some time making sure she was alright and then headed back to Leeds for the evening, leaving Connie and her hen party to plan their entertainment of the evening…somehow, I didn’t think getting the male nurses to pole dance was in the cards...

... is hard work but after a good photo or a good gig, that is the price in it. And even better if you dared to share it with others, and they do appreciate it.

The main thing is to do your best, pursue your dreams and not just to day dream about them. So here I am, making one dream come true in company of good friends that has taken me amongst them, pursuing their own dreams.

Heading to Scotland...Road Trip!!

... t even stop to take a picture! We kept driving up towards Hunstanton and watched the windsurfers & surfers from the cliffs in the awful weather. Drove back to see if we could find a camp ground….the first one wanted £30per night, thought that was a bit steep! So kept driving on. Bonvoyage and Happy Birthday BBQ

... to dawn on me what I had let myself in for. Looking back on it now it is hard to imagine how I felt, mainly because I now know what I have encountered over the last year, but before I left I was stepping into the complete unknown... anything could happen!

Anyway, to try and counterbalance the feelings of anxiety I got really really drunk and ended up puking in my tent (which I was sharing with my unfortunate friend Rich).
