... at all! What's the rush? The night is indeed very young and why spoil a good night out with friends by getting smashed! Palma appears to me to be a delicate fusion of the Oxfordesque spires of Salamanca and the narrow lamp-lit lanes of good food and fabulous bars of Valencia. Tributary lanes weave off boulevards, which in turn radiate up from the promenade walls by the cathedral. The super boats and yachts click clack in the breeze in the harbour and ...

... very well maintained and there were many signs placed strategically which made finding our way very nice.

The hotel we stayed at was NICE!!! We stayed in the Orange Colom Seaside Apartments. We had a nice apartment with a long balcony overlooking the ocean. What a beautiful view from our apartment! We could see the famous lighthouse that is still in use.

Dress code for tonight's dinner is Black & White night. ...

... They liked coming here for the sea breezes. It is high on a hill and overlooks the harbour. We stop for a washroom break and some snapshots of the harbour.

Back on the bus and we head to the center of the city where there is a real live bull ring. They actually still have bull fights here as they have in days gone by. This is actually a relatively new structure, dating from 1929. It has three levels and looks kind of small if you ask me. Not ...

... a couple of hours wandering the streets. it is a very beautiful and clean city with lovely narrow lanes and nice shops. On our way back to the shuttle we stopped at a street side restaurant and enjoyed A glass of sangria while checking the wifi. The shops here suggest a well to do clientele and that is supported by the number and quality of the pleasure craft in the Marina. The Cathedral looked a magnificent site but unfortunately we did not have time to visit. ...
