For lunch we tried to go to a vegetarian place recommended by Rick Steves, but when we arrived the owner said that we needed reservations.. It was a Tuesday afternoon in Brugge (a town the size of downtown Danville), and yet this was the FIRST establishment we walked in to that did not have enough room to seat us… Interesting

I'd say I got up at the crack of dawn, except that it wasn’t dawn yet. Up and at 'em at 5:00 this morning. We got the Etap hotel for a good price, and really, it’s clean and decent. It’s tiny though. Apparently to save space they thought they wouldn’t bother with a real bathroom. So about 2 feet away from the bed is a glass door that is the shower door.
