For anyone that is planning on going - it does say in tiny letters that if you don't park in the NT car park or use their facilities, you can access the causeway for free! Having said that the free audio guide, hot chocolate and toilet facilities made the money worthwhile in my eyes! ...

In the stone walkways were bronze footprints of some of the prisoners that were sent to Australia, one that took our eye was of a 7 year old boy who stole a coat, from the gaol they had to walk to Cork, then shipped to Australia as convicts. Driving back toward civilization, we went through Bushmills and visited none other than the Bushmills Whiskey distillery, which is older than both Guinness and Jameson. The smell was incredible.
