For anyone that is planning on going - it does say in tiny letters that if you don't park in the NT car park or use their facilities, you can access the causeway for free! ... From there Bob & I made our way up the hill to the museum which was the original gaol. In the stone walkways were bronze footprints of some of the prisoners that were sent to Australia, one that took our eye was of a 7 year old boy who stole a coat, from the gaol they had to walk to Cork, then shipped to Australia as convicts.
