    ... I got back onto the subway train and went to the 9/11 Memorial Site again. I've had a guilty feeling in the pit of my stomach ever since we went there the other day, that I didn't properly pay my respects to those poor innocents. Its a very moving place and quite emotional when you see the metal remains from the building.

    ... a great coffee we visited Little Collins, a shop set up by two lads from Melbourne on Lexington between 55 & 56 St, they even have the street sign (kindly donated by the Melbourne City Council I’m sure). The coffee and service was great, a tiny bit of home in the middle of New York.

    ... west village! It was a karaoke bar so you can imagine how excited I was! Tearing up my heart by nysync did not go down as well as sweet Caroline sung by Brian. It was quite a scene with everyone in the pub joining in and cheering all the singers. Gosh I wish England had better karaoke bars...it could be like sing star everywhere!
