Me: the last few days have been so relaxing. We have eaten our body weight in pizza and gelato but its been amazing. Yesterday we spent the day waiving our way through the streets and bridges of Venice. We got lost a few time and I promise there where no raised voices :/. ... hungry so we headed off in search of a good place to eat, our yard stick being that if we saw Italians eating there it must be ok. Well we passed lots and lots of empty cafe's and restaurants before finally finding a place which was absolutely packed, and yes it was good..... Back on the boat bus and heading back to Venice, we decided we'd hop off a few stops early and negotiate the back alleys. ... not sure if it was an earthquake or not because no one seemed worried at all. Later that day we found out it was an earthquake.  We found a great little wine bar, this place was actually recommended to try in our Lonely Planet book but we came across it by accident. We enjoyed a few glasses of wine which turned into another bottle and also shared a meat and cheese platter. We just loved Italy!  Next stop... Nice ...
