... at the square with people singing and dancing around. We also saw the two grantors columns which are symbols of the saints San Marco and San Teodoro erected in 1172, gruesomely the sight of public executions. We saw the spectacular clock tower, Torte dell'Orologio, which Rick informed us, is in renaissance style. On the top you see two bronze moors hammering out the hours literally. We finally arrived at the hotel and quickly dumped our bags to go to dinner, an included meal. If it wasn't an included meal we woulda skipped it to go see the sights before it got dark. But can't complain about a free meal. We ate in a traditional Austrian ...

... Finally they made it to their dock and disembarked in the heat of the day, after a quick tour up and down, they were off to the hotel. Following Janet's trusty sense of direction they shortly arrived at the hotel and were off to explore the city. They walked through the main square which formed the old palace of Venice, up through the streets of shops and street cars selling Venetian Masquerade masks and pirate hats. They wandered the streets, covering most of the city in 3 or 4 ...
