Buon giorno, come stai tutto
Tuesday- arrived in Venice by train then had to take the ferry out to Lido which is an island across from the main island of Venice. Trip took about 1 hour but it is definately worth it. The hotel is lovely and the island also. It has a beach so I think as it gets warmer it would be fairly crowded. At the moment only tourists. We are in the Main Street of town with an abundance of cafes/bars so plenty places to eat. ...
... Pamela having a pear, cheese and walnut salad for entree and osso buco for main while I had tagliatelle with goose ragu and a rare steak for mains. Topped off with a merlot and tiramisu for desert that the waitress said Pamela was not allowed to have any off because of her condition. I took one for the team and ate it all myself. Excellent day. ... spending the money to take a taxi. It was pricy but we were pretty much out of options at that point. We made it to our hotel, a cute little place, in a rural town of Campagna Lupia. We were both exhausted and starving so we got settled into our room then went to the hotel's restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised that they had delicious homemade pizza! By the time we finished dinner it was late so we headed to bed hoping to venture into Venice the ...
