    ... lovely Mary pendants, which was very kind of him.



    Following our lunch we went shopping, and made quite a few purchase, it’s just too hard to resist!!

    We saw some glass blowing in a few shops, in one store, the guy did a horse and cat statue in about 2 mins! Amazing! Once we left that shop we stood outside to have a drink ...

    ... The trip included a couple of longer stops along the way where we sat for over an hour. It also was my first trip over the Alps. The snow-capped, jagged, rocky peaks, rising sharply from our path was a sight this East-Coast girl, used to seeing rolling Appalachian mountains, wasn't going to miss. Fortunately for viewing, but not for sleeping, we had a clear night and nearly full moon, so I could actually see something.

    ... fighting off the pigeons for our lunch and then headed over to San Marco's square. It was another beautiful day, hot in fact and we just absorbed the atmosphere and soaked in the sights. Like famous movie stars we caught a wood panelled water taxi back to the station which was really fun!

    ... We were literally 10min away from the hostel but still legally had to stop. It was so annoying because we were already running behind time and we still had a 2 hour walking tour in Vienna! We finally arrived at the hotel and quickly dumped our bags to go to dinner, an included meal. If it wasn't an included meal we woulda skipped it to go see the sights before it got dark.
