Went to the Tegelbahn Gondola Lift for a trip to the top of the mountain called the Tegelberg, it was overcast and cold but still beautiful and the views spectacular. Wednesday 15th October An easier day today, thank goodness, though we were pleased with how well we pulled up after yesterday's efforts. An easy 10km walk today. From town found the track that wound it's way through the suburbs and then farms till these petered out as well and we were just in ...

... at 485m and continued up along the old road that leads over a pass to a small lake in a lovely setting with some high hills around it. On to St Gilgen set on Lake Wolfgangsee, where we waited for the bus on Friday. Had afternoon tea, then walked along the lakeside to our accommodation. A long 21km of walking, but very satisfying and quite straightforward after the initial climb. An easier day tomorrow visiting some local tourist ...
