    Left Cyprus yesterday on the overnight ferry to Turkey. Managed to cross into the occupied bit of Cyprus without clearing Greek immigration & customs....I blame the satnav!! best i don't go back for a while.....

    The ferry was nasty, it's a freight ferry mainly so no cabins, and it was full, loads of kids running around so no sleep, no shower...
    I'm in Alanya tonight, I managed 157 miles today, it took 6 ...

    ... me of Bali, millions of shops all selling the same thing, you either had clothes, shoes or knick knacks. Plenty of negotiating and deals to be had. We found some goodies, filled our bags and with a quick stop off for a kebab we were on our way back to gazipasa. Overall, the experience was unreal.
