The thought of coming back is actually not as daunting as we thought it would be! We are both looking forward to a new chapter in our life and we feel that we have had the exact dose of adventure that was needed to give us renewed energy and a zest for life to tackle the challenges ahead of us!

... the airport. We boarded and coach and started heading towards the city center of São Paulo. Along the way Fernando (who I think looks remarkably like Russel Crowe) was giving us some background about the city of São Paulo and the general layout. It is the largest city in Brazil and is also the financial capital. The thing that is the most noticeable as you drive through the city is the amount of disparity between rich and poor. ... though, it is one place I will have to visit frequently, as it is the place where most people want to catch up for coffees and what-nots. There to scared to rough it in the area where I live. The area where you can really rock down to Cocaine avenue.
As for Paulista, there wasn't much rocking, shimmying or jiving for that matter. Oh well, there is still fun to be had elsewhere.

Designs very cool and mid way through strolling a Google street view car turns up doing the area, it seems to pass us at least 3 or 4 times along the way. Street names are in some of photos, so keep a look out in the next few months for us there!
