We are settled in our cute apartment and after another sleep in we arose at 9am to face another day. I have not previously mentioned the weather, it has been nothing other than beautiful ,just like Spring days in Sydney. Ken sitting outside on balcony enjoying a glass of wine at 5.30 in tee shirt. We have been truly blessed with sunny days and no wind at this stage. We enjoyed a coffee and croissant for breakfast and set off again for a full day of walking Around ...

The centre of town was only a 5 minute walk from the bus station, and right away I saw a pretty awesome fountain right in front of me. I was hoping for more of this, Aix is sometimes called the city of fountains, but the rest ...

... As with the other concerts, we were pretty well drenched by the time we were done. The ladies were sweaty, but I really feel sorry for the guys in their tuxes with no air conditioning and Mediterranean weather. The orchestra hosted an after-concert gathering in the courtyard after the concert with pizza, sandwiches, brownies (sounds American, no?) and wine. We were on the buses by 11:30 p.m. and started the two-hour drive to Cannes.
