... staring out at the sea, surrounded by rocky walls. If course, we had to run down and touch the icy Mediterranean for the first time. The biting wind whipped us like a thousand boxing blows, laced with a chill, but that didn't stop us from hiking up to the top off the cliffs for some phenomenal views. ... again. So, i invited my French classmates. Only the swedes couldn't come, but the other three were able to make it! Needless to say, for an american holiday/tradition we were rather international. Around the dinner table we were representing: America, Thailand, Poland, Latvia, England and France. It was great! We missed the summer lavender fields. If you really dig modern painting, Aix-en-Provence may hold some charm. Not a bad town, just nothing really spectacular.

Nancy liked the shopping in the old town during the market day.
