... riders were from the pre1950's, exhaust pipes, when attached, belching smoke and oil in equal proportions. Had a walk round the town and then went into the tourist centre where a lovely lady told us all about the area and gave us lots of pamphlets. ... us to a trip on a ferry across the lake, which was a nice surprise! France is always good, feels close to home and we've missed their baking. We're at a small site run by 'Stan' just south of Nancy. It's all NL here (we have to call the that now as Gen only refers to people by the letters on their car) only one or two D's and no GB's (that's what Gen seeks out!) We've had the odd letter that we have to look up - there is S, DK, B, BL, ...
