    ... much to write home about. The one high point to add was that after the shocking steak experience in Mendoza we decided to get back on the horse (or cow in this case) and try another steak meal. Luckily our faith in Argentinian steak was restored. Having each ordered the Bife de Chorizo (or sirloin to you and me) we each received around 600g of steak and a large portion of chips. Oh the meat sweats, but it was sooo gooood. Phil and Mups ...

    ... the hell it fitted last time.

  • Glance nervously at wall clock.
  • With all sense of care and attention / ease of access forgotten, begin ramming huge great fist-fulls of your belongings into rucksack like a maniacal chef stuffing a particularly narrow hipped turkey.
  • Realise it still doesn’t f@#king fit, but you can’t start again as not enough time.
  • Throw caution to the wind and drag protesting zip ...

    ... with me, loves wine and most importantly, had the exact same reaction to the 'K-Mart' like shop that we frequented!! It was that bonding moment where we both did the 'This is not my kind of shop' look followed by 'Isn't there a Zara in Cordoba?'

    Anywho, after our lovely beers in the sun, it was time to take the vom-mobile back home for yet another mini-adventure!!! Just to explain.....a trip that should have taken me an hour, took 2 and a half and this ...

    ... exhibition on as well which was an added bonus, and amongst the collection we also saw some philosophical works which it was suggested were catalytic in Argentina actively seeking its independence from Spain.

    Next door was the Colegio Monserrat which has its own guided tours, but our guide briefly explained that it is one of the oldest and most prestigious schools in the country, and is celebrating its 400th ...

    ... side of the river from it....... It was now 3:30pm and at least 35 degrees... We saw a river crossing and in the distance, saw a car driving over it, accept it was driving through the water (I have pictures). We found our way and walked down. It was worth a try to walk across without getting swept away. And of course, we made it across. Spent a whole hour and half there and then made the walk back to the bus as we were tired, hungry and thirsty....
