    Race Day

A travel blog entry by legoodtimesroll on Jul 10, 2015

Graham met another trathlete on the campsite and they decided to travel on the 7.30 bus into Geneva. An early start with number tattoos applied , sun cream on and pre race breakfast. I delivered them to the bus stop and went back to see if there was any other signs of life at base camp. Slowly the campers emerged and prepared themselves for the day ahead in the hot sun, We failed to get to the bus stop by 10am as planned so had to wait another half ann ...

... Then the fun began. We couldn't find a taxi big enough to take us and the boxes, and by the time we found the bus terminal, the bus we needed had gone. Three tents now set up, on our pitch this is what you call "family camping" . Sarah and Duncan arrived at 10 30 Graham having picked them up from the airport. Not too late a night for the travellers and the triathlete who was going to be up ...

Today we went for a bike ride. It was great! We're have to build up our endurance again but it was great to be out there. We road along the lake. There's a nice walking and biking path along there. It was a really nice ride, great to be out again. It's definitely something we will have to do in the morning. This area gets pretty busy in the afternoon but it was perfect in the morning. It will be great to start up again. Riley was also very good which ...

... I relax, clean and answer emails. She seemed surprised and I was surprised anyone would have an issue with it. I'm dreading when he drops it.

Gotta love Swiss. I don't know what it is because I don't feel huge exercisers or any more than Canadians but they public machines. It was still roped off and because I was dealing with Riley I didn't get a good look but they were installing exercise equipment. It looked like they even installed AstroTurf. There were about 5-7 machines. ...
