A few days off from the walking training as we went up to the village (Orounta) to spend Easter with our Cyprus family, a bit of a tradition now! Church at midnight to celebrate the rising of Christ with the candles and bonfire, traditional lamb soup with citrus to mark the end of fasting, a walk round the beautiful village, the souvla and zivania for late lunch. A lovely weekend with our synbetharos ...
