Hablas Espanol?? Cuz they friggen don't in Barcelona!!! take the combined Spanish, Italian and French that Serena and I know and throw it out the window... This language (Catalan) is weeeeeeeeird. also, btw... they dont set their clocks back.. so we kinda missed the bar crawl... whatever... its 12:17 on wednesday night now and we're about to head out... the metro opens back up at 5am.... wish us luck.....

... Sea. Then we boarded the cable car for the ride back down and got back on the tour bus. Our next stop was Port Olimpic. This is basically along the shoreline-kind of a beachy, tourist area with shops, sailboats and restaurants. I got majorly sunburned!!! No surprise there! While there, we found a nice restaurant we want to go back and try. Tomorrow is Christineś birthday and we have plans to watch a flamenco show tomorrow night!

... the main square where we had a beer at the Hard Rock Café (ok, a little cheesy, but they were playing good music and we don't know the city yet). After this we headed home to get some sleep at about 3am. We slept in until about noon due to our late night the day before. ... other side was typical Gaudi dark mud brick look- but it looked like someone had built a massive Cathedral out of brown wax and then lite it and let it partially melt- or that someone made a Cathedral mil chocolate ice-cream cake and it had began to melt creating a strange effect that you have to see to believe. The 1992 olympic site was also checked out and some good photos were taken, pretty amazing to be in the stadium where the flame was lit up by arrow! good memories and pretty stoked to be here right about now! Anouncements then came on the intercom system saying that they were having 'technical difficulties'. Not wanting to take our chances on the metro and running short on time, we took a cab to Placa Catalunya and got the bus from there back to the airport. Close call- but we made it in time.
