    ... to rest. He eventually left the ship around 1.0-2pm – there were still loads of people going ashore then but I guess they didn’t feel the need to hurry as our departure is at 7pm tonight/

    Luckily we didn't have a shore excursion planned here - I find that doing shore excursions in every port is exhausting so wandering around the town centre is the way to go for some places and for some days on a cruise.

    ... of a concrete bunker and contained more expensive furniture that it looked like it could afford, especially since we were the only guests. After another tasty dinner buffet provided by the hostel, we broke up into groups for a journal critique. Since the town was a hike from the hostel, no one felt like going out, but that gave us time to get to know the other design students...and also take advantage of the beer vending machine.

    ... that there was a city-wide e. coli warning and we should not drink the water from the tap. That morning we had both already chugged a few large glasses with hopes that it would make for a better day. Luckily we were spared and did not suffer any serious setbacks from the bacteria.

    We also booked flights to Spain and left this past Monday (see next post).
