    ... had stopped. At about 2pm we hit the wall and life got tough, so we went to Joe & the Juice, a juice bar in the station run by Danish boys. It is a nice place. After a delish salad and juice we continued our shopping before deciding to see a movie, therefore we didn't tire ourselves out more and it would finish at 9.30pm a completely acceptable time to go to sleep.

    After bedding down next to a path by a bird sanctuary, I awake to continue down the coast to the ferry. I replace my first tyre, and notice that my rugged offroad tyres now resemble racing superslicks.The weather has cleared up, I make camp about 14k from the Ebeltoft ferry in some woods. In other news, I have begun talking to my bicycle. I have named him 'squeak'. I buy some chain lube to shut him up.

    ... the work can have enormous consequence.

    Although this town was very quaint and offered a good postcard shot, there wasn't much to do. We did a sketching exercise at the old village church which wasn't anything special other than some creepy paintings of Jesus. However, it was interesting to see that they depicted his birth in a nordic chalet and the three wise men looked like characters from Viking Quest.

    ... into my pocket and pull out my cell phone for light. No doubt, a suiting end to the night, I had been trying my key in my roommates door. What makes it worse, is she is from China and keeps very quiet as she doesn't speak much English. She must have been terrified lol.

    Anyway, the point of this entry is that we have learned an important lesson: When drinking with Danes, proceed with caution.

    ... took it upon herself to visit my mum in Colwyn Bay, to see how she was, take her out for lunch and show her the photos that she had taken whilst she’d been with us. They both had a great time and Elaine had the foresight to send a photo through to our phones, to reassure us that mum was not pining away at the absence of her one and only, very precious and talented, son! I include one of the photos to show that we have nothing to worry about....
