Fine, warm and sunny 20-32deg, 77km, av. 16.6km/h, tot. 1617km. It was already fairly warm when we left the motel at 8:25am. Wendy had obtained all the required standpoint numbers for the route on her phone the night before. All we had to do was locate the first one, which we did, and away we went to the next and the next, etc. An easy 10km to get clear of the city and then it was ...

... been such an amazing adventure, I wouldn't change it for the world! :-) We're at a campsite in Breda, the Netherlands, which seemed like a good place to stop so we would only have about 50 miles to do in the morning, but what a bonus place we found!! ... we managed to pick up our stove in the seaside town of Pevenesy on the way. That would be the services near Pevenesy and nowhere near the seaside.    Typicaly the pommy ******* (official australian name for englishmen,{no really, look it up})  that sold it to me,  lied in his ad for the stove and typicaly i forgot to never trust em. (pommy mates excluded). Bought it anyway.  That two minutes i mentioned was at the end of our drive ...

And so, back to Belgium. I wasn't going to go over but, after the hassle with med school (coupled with first salary in over a year and Koen's birthday), I decided a weekend with the lovely Belgium's was just the thing I needed - and that it was. Just what the doctor ordered!
