... organized by semester at sea on the first night. We went to Malbork first which is the largest brick castle in all of Europe. Much of it isn’t the original castle because it was bombed in WWII (like the rest of Europe). ... to later referred to it as "that pile of scrap metal"... To each his own I guess... I found it quite impressive though ;-) The angel was our last touristic visit though... We drive on to Hull and reach the boat right at the time boarding starts. No more UK soil under our feet... Time for international waters. We say goodbye with a great sunset. ... and went to some markets. Most things are closed on Sundays like all cities in Europe. Around 3 I headed to the Antwerp Zoo. It is literally connected to the train station and is in the middle of the city. THe zoo was GREAT! I have been to the London and Paris zoo but this was so much better. It is not a gigantic zoo, but the exhibits are well done and the animals were active. I was able to see all of the ones I wanted to see. It is a must go if you ever ...
