... Australian couple had the name of a relative killed in WW1. She had only recently discovered that her great uncle had died in battle 4 months before armistice at the age of 19 and she had tracked down the cemetery where he was buried. Each cemetery has a book of all the plots and Nathan located the exact plot for her. This was again the advantage of this small tour
as she had requested this stop prior to the tour. It was the second largest Commonwealth cemetery ...

... and went to some markets. Most things are closed on Sundays like all cities in Europe. Around 3 I headed to the Antwerp Zoo. It is literally connected to the train station and is in the middle of the city. THe zoo was GREAT! I have been to the London and Paris zoo but this was so much better. It is not a gigantic zoo, but the exhibits are well done and the animals were active. I was able to see all of the ones I wanted to see. It is a must go if you ever ...

... with all of us sat in the living room alternating between dozing, drinking water, watching Family Guy and just generally feeling delicate! Managed to miss train back to Hoek by about 10 seconds due to wrong information on the website but still got the ferry ok and, after a duty-free stock up, went straight to bed and slept through until England... Going to take me a while to recover I think!

... we head out to Belgium. It is supposed to be only a 2 and a half hour drive from Andijk, but traffic was bad, so we took a little longer. When we almost arrived at the park we realized that we did not leave my passport for the courier to pick up. Damn! we have to go and deliver that ourselves tomorrow.


The apartment in the park was OK as it could be. Although the cleaning could have been done a bit better as the floors ...
