    ... much fun in biking gear, hence the ice cream.

    Back on the bike we took the DN 1e road into Brasov. This is without doubt the best riding road of the entire trip. Unusually for Romania it was well surfaced all the way, lots of interesting bends with the odd good view thrown in. The Transfagarasan was spectacular but this is far and away a better road for riding. More like this please.

    ... to contact one of their children Samuel who lives in London to translate. He doesn't answer the phone so they take to feeding me to as a way to fill time. Food- the universal language- I think I gained 10 pounds at their house.
