We arrived in Como after a long drive from Bassano via Verona and the Hertz office to replace, yet again, the GPS. Well from the outside of city there is a breathtaking view of the upper town but once you are in it I woudn't say the same. Still there is plenty to see wandering around the streets and lots of lovely churches to explore. But it's definitely not the best medieval town in Italy.

... a beer and the buffet is wonderful selection of Italian breads, pizza, olive breads etc. just what we needed. After a couple of drinks and chatting, we are showing our tiredness and decide it is time to head back. We will meet in the morning about 9:30 at the airport (again) to pick up the hire car. On our way back we look for a bank where we can withdraw some money. We end to have cash to pay for the apartment in Nesso when ...

... the most amazing things were the art works inside and the interior decorations. In a special area they had the last (unfinished) sculpture that Michelangelo did – the Pieta. I found this very moving and spent quite some time contemplating it with few people around. I found the Brera Gallery easily and there was a remarkable special exhibition of Bellini's works as well as their ...
