... The one that says 'London, Paris, Milan New York'.

We found a lovely local lady who showed us the Metro station and the way we needed to head. WE decided to walk for a bit, found the Hilton Hotel and grabbed a concierge and a map, and then walked much more confidently towards the Lima train station. Along the way, we found a bakery and purchased cannolis and bread.

It was getting hotter and hotter and the streets in this part of town were ...

Day 1 We awoke to a gorgeous day in Lugano (my birthday) and unfortunately I woke up with a sore throat and sore ears. We took the train to Milan and that was an eye opener. The train was packed and there were suitcases everywhere so even trying to get to our allocated seats was a mission. The train trip was just over an hour and once we got seated it was pleasant enough. When it came time to get off in Milan it was another nightmare, trying to retrieve our suitcases from under ...

... a bunch of stuff, I am keen to keep my suitcase nice and light. Sal went out on the following day and did a little better coming home with a coat and some other nice stuff. With a little more time and space, we would have done a lot better, everything was on sale and they had some amazing clothes and shoes in particular.

On day 2 we went to the National Science Museum, which was housed a whole wing of Leonardo Da Vinci. We saw the last supper and a bunch of other Da Vinci ...
