      ... in the middle of nowhere with no electricity. It had a watering hole right in the middle of the facility where the animals come at night to drink from it. We got picked up by a local and went on a little safari/ survival course. We drove all around the Namib desert chasing oryx, zebras, ostriches, and lots of other animals.       ... is a day of chores for me....stinking laundry in particular! Tomorrow will be the official "day one" in my search to return to my career path. I will take the lessons of the last week with me and hope very much to find a team of people to join who are at least half as committed to their cause as the fine men and women I rode with last week.

      ... and meat was cooking. We had game sausage and lamb chops. We spent the last evening laughing around the table and drinking. We stayed up together until 9:30 (that’s incredibly late here)! It was an incredible time. I absolutely love everyone that is here with me, and I hope that we remain this close once we get back to the farm. Everyone is coming back except for Pia.
